Phone app aims to simplify daily insulin decisions

NCT ID NCT07234500

Summary

This study is testing whether a mobile phone app can help people with Type 1 diabetes manage their insulin doses and improve blood sugar control. Researchers in Iraq will compare 50 patients using the app for daily guidance to patients receiving standard doctor-led care alone over 3 months. The main goal is to see if using the app leads to better long-term blood sugar levels (HbA1c).
