Smartphone app aims to speed recovery after prostate surgery
NCT ID NCT07520916
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a mobile app with educational videos, pelvic floor exercises, and reminders can improve recovery of bladder control and erectile function in men after prostate cancer surgery. About 78 men scheduled for prostate removal will be randomly assigned to either standard care or standard care plus the app. Researchers will measure incontinence and erectile function before surgery, after catheter removal, and at 1 and 3 months after surgery.
