First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tested a new long-acting malaria medicine called MMV371 in 32 healthy adults. The goal was to check if the injection is safe and how the body processes it. Participants received either the medicine or a placebo and were monitored for about 12 weeks. This is an early-stage trial, so it does not provide any treatment benefit to volunteers.
