Summary
This study tested a new version of a common memory test (MMSE) that was adapted for people in Reunion Island who cannot read or write. The adapted test, called MMS-Run, was compared to the standard test in 61 older hospitalized adults. The goal was to see if the two tests give similar results, which would help validate the new test for wider use.
