First seen Apr 28, 2026 ยท Last updated Apr 28, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether giving pregnant women a multivitamin supplement is better than the usual iron-folic acid pills for improving baby birth weight and mother's health. About 667 pregnant women in Bangladesh will take either the multivitamin or iron-folic acid during pregnancy. Researchers will track birth weight, anemia, and other outcomes to see which approach works best in real-world settings.
