First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests if injecting the MMR vaccine directly into stubborn fungal skin infections (tinea) can help clear them. It includes 50 people aged 10-60 whose infections did not improve with standard antifungal pills. Participants receive injections every 2 weeks for up to 6 weeks, plus a short course of antifungal medication. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and reduces the infected skin area.
