Summary
This study tested a new drug (MK-1454) injected directly into tumors, combined with the immunotherapy pembrolizumab, for people with advanced head and neck cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. The goal was to see if the combination worked better than pembrolizumab alone. The trial included 18 adults who had not received prior treatment for their advanced cancer. The main focus was on tumor shrinkage and safety.
