New combo therapy targets tough lung cancer mutation
NCT ID NCT07554339
First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding the experimental drug MK-1084 to standard immunotherapy (durvalumab) can keep a certain type of advanced lung cancer from growing. The cancer must have a specific gene change called KRAS G12C and not have spread after initial chemotherapy and radiation. About 310 adults with this condition will receive either the drug combo or a placebo plus durvalumab, and researchers will compare how long they live without the cancer worsening.
