NCT ID NCT05721729

Summary

This study tested whether a medication called mizagliflozin could help control severe low blood sugar episodes that sometimes occur after weight-loss surgery. Fifteen people who had undergone gastric bypass and experienced these episodes tried the drug and a placebo in different orders. Researchers measured how the drug affected blood sugar levels and safety during the trial.
