First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests three ways to teach nursing students how to insert a nasogastric tube: using mixed reality glasses, watching a video, or learning from an instructor. About 160 first-year nursing students with no prior experience will be randomly assigned to one method. Their performance will be checked right after training and again six months later to see which method works best.
