Virtual reality aims to train better midwives
NCT ID NCT07238205
Summary
This study is testing whether a mixed reality training program is a better way to teach midwifery students how to assess a woman's cervix during labor. Researchers will compare students who learn with the mixed reality program to those who receive traditional training, measuring how accurately they perform the assessment on real patients. The study also looks at whether the virtual training feels realistic, is easier to learn from, and improves students' view of their profession.
