New shot aims to tame dangerous blood fats

Summary
This study is testing whether a new injectable drug called BW-00112 can safely lower high levels of triglycerides and other fats in the blood of people with mixed dyslipidemia. About 145 participants, who are already taking a stable dose of a statin medication, will receive either the new drug or a placebo injection for 6 months. The main goal is to see how much the drug reduces triglyceride levels compared to the placebo.
