Heart valve study seeks clues on exercise limits after mitral repair

NCT ID NCT07394998

First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study compares people who had a mitral valve procedure for mitral stenosis with healthy volunteers to see how their exercise ability, muscle oxygen levels, and artery stiffness differ. Researchers will measure these factors using exercise tests and non-invasive devices. The goal is to better understand long-term recovery and heart health after valve treatment.
