Doctors test donor valves to fix failing heart valves
NCT ID NCT06196684
Summary
This study is testing whether using mitral valve tissue from donors is a safe and effective way to replace a patient's own damaged tricuspid heart valve. It involves 30 patients with primary tricuspid valve disease who need valve replacement surgery. Researchers will track survival rates, complications, and how well the new valve functions after the procedure.
