New eye device tested to fight glaucoma when drops fail

Summary
This is the first study in people to test the safety and performance of a new medical device called MIST. It aims to lower high eye pressure in adults with a common type of glaucoma that isn't well controlled by prescription eye drops. Doctors will perform a minor procedure with the device and follow patients for one year to see how well it works and check for any side effects.
