New eye device aims to lower glaucoma pressure without daily drops

Summary
This study tests a new medical device called MIST for people with primary open-angle glaucoma whose eye pressure is not well controlled with eye drops. The device creates a tiny drainage channel in the eye to reduce pressure. About 25 adults aged 40 and older will be treated, and their eye pressure will be monitored for 12 months to see if the device is safe and effective.
