Summary
This study tested whether a short screening questionnaire could help hospital staff identify older adults who are experiencing abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation. Researchers asked 100 patients on a special geriatric unit to answer three simple questions. The goal was to connect those at risk with extra care and support before they left the hospital.
