Can a foam fix female baldness? new trial seeks answers

NCT ID NCT07080931

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests if a once-daily 5% minoxidil foam can help women with androgenetic alopecia (female pattern hair loss) grow more hair. About 294 women aged 18 and older with mild to moderate hair loss will use either the foam or a placebo for 24 weeks. The main goal is to see if the foam increases the number of terminal hairs in a target area of the scalp.
