Tiny incision, big relief? new surgery aims to fix pinched nerves in the neck

NCT ID NCT06886802

Summary

This study is testing a less invasive surgery for people with cervical spinal stenosis, a condition where the spinal canal in the neck narrows and pinches nerves, causing pain and weakness. Fifty patients in Mexico will have the new procedure, which uses a small incision and a tiny camera to relieve pressure on the nerves. Researchers will track if it improves neck function, reduces pain and disability, and leads to faster recovery with fewer complications than traditional surgery.
