New surgical approach aims to heal painful anal fistulas faster
NCT ID NCT06484660
Summary
This study is testing if a less invasive surgical technique leads to better healing for complex anal fistulas compared to a standard surgery. It will involve 40 adults with a specific type of fistula that hasn't been treated before. Researchers will track how well patients heal, their pain levels, and their quality of life for six months after surgery.
