Tiny incision, big relief? new back surgery technique under the microscope

NCT ID NCT07045714

Summary

This study is testing a less invasive surgery for people with lumbar spinal stenosis, a condition that causes back and leg pain from pinched nerves. 78 patients in Mexico who haven't gotten better with other treatments will have the new procedure, which uses a small camera through a single tiny cut to relieve pressure on the nerves. Researchers will track their pain, mobility, and recovery for a year to see if this method is safe and helps people get back to their daily activities faster.
