New kidney stone surgery shows promise in early trial

Summary

This study is testing a new surgical method to remove large kidney stones (2 cm or bigger) using a thin, flexible scope and a special suction tube. The goal is to see if this technique is safe and effective at clearing all stone fragments. Thirty adults will take part in this early-stage trial.
