First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study compares two surgical techniques for repairing a common finger injury called volar plate injury. The mini-anchor method uses an internal fixation device, while the pull-out suture method uses an external stitch. The goal is to see which approach leads to better finger movement and fewer complications like skin irritation. The trial will involve 12 adults aged 18-55 with isolated closed injuries.
