Summary
This study compares two surgical techniques for repairing a torn volar plate in the finger. The older method uses a suture that exits the skin, which can cause irritation and delay movement. The newer method uses a small internal anchor. The trial will enroll 12 adults aged 18-55 with isolated closed injuries to see which approach leads to better range of motion and fewer complications.
