NCT ID NCT07555912
First seen May 07, 2026 ยท Last updated May 07, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether an 8-week mindfulness training program could improve attention and emotional control in 37 municipal-level badminton athletes aged 12-18. Participants were randomly assigned to either mindfulness training (twice-weekly sessions plus optional daily practice) or their usual training. Researchers measured changes in attention, emotion regulation, and brain activity before and after the program to see if mindfulness helps young athletes perform better under pressure.
