Mindfulness training aims to stop psychosis before it starts
NCT ID NCT06870305
Summary
This study is testing whether group mindfulness therapy can help prevent young adults at high risk for psychosis from developing full psychosis. It will compare mindfulness sessions plus usual care against usual care alone in 270 participants aged 18-30. The main goal is to see if mindfulness reduces the distress caused by early symptoms and lowers the chance of transitioning to psychosis.
