Can a zoom call before surgery ease your recovery?
NCT ID NCT07026786
Summary
This study is testing whether a brief mindfulness training session before surgery can help people feel calmer and manage pain better after colorectal (bowel) surgery. About 50 patients will be randomly assigned to either learn mindfulness techniques or receive standard care. The main goal is to see if this approach is practical to study and if patients find it helpful for their recovery.
