Can a phone call lower pregnancy blood pressure? new study tests mindfulness
NCT ID NCT04626245
Summary
This study is testing whether an 8-week mindfulness program delivered by phone can help prevent dangerous high blood pressure during pregnancy. Researchers will enroll 150 pregnant women at risk for this condition and randomly assign them to either the mindfulness program or their usual care. The team will track blood pressure and stress levels using smartphone surveys, audio sampling, and wearable sensors to see if mindfulness training helps.
