Mindfulness eases PMS and calms fears of future childbirth

NCT ID NCT07360197

Summary

This study tested whether an 8-week online mindfulness training program could help women with Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS). Researchers wanted to see if the program could reduce the severity of PMS symptoms, lower fear related to future pregnancy and childbirth, and improve overall psychological well-being. The study involved 126 women who were randomly assigned to either participate in the mindfulness program or to a control group that received no intervention.
