Mindfulness over menstrual pain: new study tests Self-Compassion training

Summary
This study looks at whether an 8-session mindfulness and self-compassion program can help students with painful periods feel less stress and pain, and more in control. About 68 students will take part, with some getting the training and others not. The goal is to see if this mind-body approach offers a drug-free way to manage period discomfort.
