Summary
This study looked at whether mindfulness practices like meditation or yoga can reduce stress and burnout and increase feelings of belonging among nursing faculty and staff. Thirty-two participants from the University of New Mexico College of Nursing took part in either meditation or yoga twice a week for six weeks. The goal was to see if these practices improve well-being and sense of connection at work.
