First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests whether an 8-week mindfulness program can help Hispanic young adults (ages 18-25) who binge drink reduce their alcohol use. Participants are randomly assigned to either the mindfulness group or a no-treatment control group. The study measures changes in drinking behavior, stress, and biological markers like blood alcohol levels. The goal is to see if the program is acceptable and feasible for this population.
