Summary
This study tested a mindfulness and compassion training program called CHIME for Early Head Start and Head Start educators. It aimed to see if the program could reduce work stress and improve the emotional well-being of teachers and staff. Researchers also looked to see if these benefits for educators might lead to better social and emotional skills for the young children in their classrooms.
