Mindfulness vs. standard care: can it stop drug relapse?
NCT ID NCT07161986
Summary
This study tested whether a mindfulness-based strategy could help adults recovering from addiction to multiple drugs stay sober, compared to standard treatment. Researchers worked with 130 people in drug rehabilitation centers to see if mindfulness training reduced cravings and the risk of returning to drug use. They also looked at whether the training improved emotional control, coping skills, and mental health.
