Can mindfulness ease the trauma for women after disasters?
NCT ID NCT07283601
Summary
This study tested whether an 8-week mindfulness training program could help reduce stress for women who had been through a major disaster like an earthquake or flood. 70 women who reported moderate to high stress levels participated, with half receiving the mindfulness classes and half not. Researchers measured their stress levels before and after the program to see if the mindfulness training made a difference.
