Can mindfulness calm the fears of First-Time moms?
NCT ID NCT07415122
Summary
This study aims to see if adding mindfulness exercises to standard childbirth education classes helps reduce fear of childbirth and stress in pregnant women. It will involve 80 first-time mothers, who will be randomly assigned to either the mindfulness-enhanced classes or standard classes. The researchers will measure changes in fear, stress, and confidence levels before and after the classes to see if the mindfulness approach makes a difference.
