Summary

This study tested a mindfulness program for 392 women in prison who have alcohol use disorder. The goal was to see if mindfulness training could lower alcohol cravings, reduce drinking after release, and decrease the chance of being arrested again. The program targets thinking patterns that often lead to relapse and re-offending.
