Can a simple breathing tool help kids with ADHD focus?

NCT ID NCT07037030

Summary

This small pilot study is testing whether a simple, guided deep breathing exercise can help children with ADHD improve their attention and self-control. Kids aged 7-11 will use a handheld device that vibrates to guide their breathing, then complete computer tasks to measure focus. The goal is to see if this low-cost, easy-to-use mindfulness technique could become a helpful add-on to existing ADHD treatments.
