Scientists scan brains to see how mindfulness helps adults with autism
NCT ID NCT04017793
Summary
This study aimed to understand how mindfulness classes affect the brain in adults with autism. Researchers measured brain activity before and after 8 weeks of stress-reduction classes to see if symptom improvements were linked to brain changes. The goal was to learn how the brain changes when people feel better and become more aware of their emotions.
