Zap your blues away? remote brain stimulation trial seeks to ease depression
NCT ID NCT07042217
Summary
This study is testing whether a combination of gentle brain stimulation and mindfulness exercises, delivered remotely through a telemedicine system, can help reduce symptoms of depression. Researchers are recruiting 25 adults with unipolar depression to compare the active treatment against a sham (placebo) version. The goal is to see if this non-drug approach can effectively control depression symptoms and improve quality of life.
