Healing the healers: art therapy eases trauma for Earthquake-Zone nurses

NCT ID NCT06706505

Summary

This study tested whether a program combining mindfulness and art therapy could help nurses working in a Turkish earthquake zone. Forty-four nurses were split into two groups: one received five weekly therapy sessions, while the other did not. Researchers measured the nurses' stress, burnout, and emotional resilience before, after, and for six months to see if the therapy made a lasting difference.
