Summary
This study tested a smartphone app designed to help African American caregivers of people with HIV/AIDS manage their stress. The app uses mindfulness exercises and is tailored to address the unique challenges these caregivers face, including stigma and discrimination. Researchers wanted to see if using the app could reduce stress, improve caregivers' mental health, and strengthen their relationship with the person they care for.
