Summary

This study tested whether adding mindfulness-based stress reduction to aerobic exercise helps people who had a heart stent procedure. 150 participants were split into two groups: one did only aerobic training, the other added mindfulness sessions. Researchers measured fear of movement, heart rate variability, exercise ability, and anxiety/depression levels. The goal was to see if the combined approach improves recovery and quality of life.
