Can thinking about exercise make you stronger? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT07094334
Summary
This study aims to understand the immediate effects of a single session of 'action observation' (watching movements) and 'motor imagery' (mentally practicing movements) on arm stability, muscle oxygen levels, and feelings of fatigue. It involves 42 healthy young adult men who will perform a specific arm balance test. The goal is to gather basic knowledge about how these mental techniques might influence physical performance, not to treat any condition.
