Mind over loneliness: new study tests simple techniques for nursing home residents

Summary
This study compares a nurse-led mind-body program (like gentle movement and breathing) to a friendly chat program for reducing loneliness in older adults living in long-term care homes. About 120 residents aged 60 and older who can speak Cantonese will take part. The goal is to see which approach better improves loneliness, quality of life, and mood.
