Summary
This study tested whether adding special mind-body techniques to standard jaw pain treatment could provide extra relief. Fifty adults with chronic jaw pain received either standard care or standard care plus pain education and mental movement exercises. Researchers measured changes in pain, disability, and fear of movement over several months to see which approach worked better.
