Is your jaw pain all in your head? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT07385781
Summary
This study aims to understand how psychological stress and emotional factors might be connected to chronic jaw and facial muscle pain. Researchers will compare 300 adults with long-term jaw pain to others without it, using questionnaires to measure stress-related physical symptoms. The goal is to gather knowledge to potentially improve future treatment approaches, not to test a new therapy.
