Can a video ease the fear that worsens teen leg pain?

NCT ID NCT05701618

Summary

This study tested whether a special educational video about the mind-body connection could help teenagers with leg pain that wasn't caused by a sudden injury. 86 teens with pain lasting over 4 weeks were randomly assigned to watch either this psychology-informed video or a control video. Researchers then tracked their pain levels, fear of movement, and physical activity for a full year to see if the video helped them feel and function better.
