Summary

This study explores whether changing the sound of a person's breathing can improve their thinking and reduce feelings of breathlessness when breathing is harder than normal. Researchers will have 15 healthy adults breathe through a device that makes it harder to breathe, while playing back their breathing sounds normally, louder, or softer. The goal is to see if these sound changes affect how hard breathing feels and how well they perform on attention tests.
