Heart attack survivors: could a daily glass of modified milk keep your arteries clear?

NCT ID NCT07176104

First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study tests whether a daily drink of specially modified milk can reduce the risk of arteries re-narrowing and prevent future heart problems in people who have had a heart attack. About 140 participants will drink either the special milk or a regular milk for 12 months, alongside standard care. Researchers will use scans and blood tests to check for artery blockages and measure inflammation and other health markers.
