Heart attack patients to drink special milk to stop arteries clogging again
NCT ID NCT07176104
First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests whether a daily special milk drink, enriched with natural proteins and healthy fats, can prevent stented arteries from narrowing again after a heart attack. About 140 adults who recently had a first heart attack and received a stent will drink either the special milk or a regular milk for 12 months. Researchers will use CT scans and blood tests to check for artery re-blockage and overall heart health.
